The Roof Coating Process
The roof coating process is usually completed in five stages. Our roof coating agents are all directed to follow these 5 steps to ensure the best possible results:
1. Survey
A registered Smartseal agent will call to arrange a FREE survey of your roof and provide a no obligation written quote.
2. Weed Growth
Prior to cleaning an anti-fungicide is applied to kill moss and algae spores and further protect your roof tiles.
3. Cleaning
The roof is then pressure washed to clean off any moss, lichen and general grime that may have built up over time.
4. Repairs
Any damaged or cracked roof tiles are replaced and any re-pointing is carried out if required.
5. Application
Our roof coatings are then applied by airless sprayer with two coats for maximum protection and to ensure a uniform colour
